Evan Mutrie, 26, is a gymnastics coach and an American football coach since 2013.  He is a full quadriplegic on a ventilator after a non-traumatic spinal cord injury. He caught a rare virus which killed all his motor nerves but his sensory nerves are intact.

He has been on-off depression since he was 10 years old and struggled with prescription medication, alcoholism, Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), Asperger’s Syndrome self-harm which affects his daily life. It can ruin his day or year depending how severe it is.

Evan wants to be an advocate for people suffering from mental health. He lives in British Columbia, Canada.
